Week 2 Computer-Aided Design
Design a model for your final project:

In this week assignment I decided to create a 2D design with Inkscape, my favorite open source vector base software.

My design is a 2D drawing of some parts to be cut. Each piece fit tight to assemble them into a 3D piece. My aim creating this simple design is to produce the top part "plant pot" for my final project in aquaponics.

The materials I am thinking to use for my structure are acrylic and plywood of 3mm thick.
I have chosen these materials because with my design they can be easily flat pack and carried away, also they are not heavy. The doubt is to check how strong they are to support the weight.

As my fish tank is far away in another country I decided to create a very simple support structure to be easily modified after works, when assembling all the parts together. You can Find an explanation pictures of how does it work:
